Tangier’s Aiport, Ibn Batouta is 15 km west of the city. The best connection between the airport and the city is via Grands Taxi leaving from Grand Socco. The ride should cost around 100dh, however it is always advisable to agree on the price before the journey.

CTM Coaches
Coaches to Tetouan and Chefchaouen go from the port. All others go from the Gare Routiere, 2 km from the city centre.

By Train
Tanger Ville is Tangier’s newest train station and is only 2 km east of the city. It is connected to the city via a bus service, but the best way to get there is via petit taxi (minicab)
Tanger Moghoba, situated 4 km from the city, is Tangier’s secondary station; all trains leaving Tanger Ville also stop here.
The best train connection is the night journey from Tangier to Marrakech with sleeping facilities on board.

Grands Taxi
The Grands Taxi can be for short or long journeys and can take up to 6 people. For long journeys they usually start from the Gare Routiere while those parked in Grand Socco they usually offer shorter runs around the city area, but go as far as the airport and Hercules Grotto.

Petit Taxi
The petit taxis, recognizable from their blue and grey colours, are ideal to move within the city. They are meter operated and can be stopped anywhere on the street. Prices are subject to a 50% increase at night.
