Museum of Maroccan Arts, in the Dar el Makhzen palace in Place de la Kasbah
This museum, set in the prince’s apartments with painted wooden ceiling and sculpted plasterwork, displays all expression of Moroccan art from rugs and pottery to jewellery and silks in a diverse collection of works.

Museum of Antiquities - in the Dar el Makhzen palace in Place de la Kasbah
It displays artifacts including bronze and mosaics from the Roman sites of Lixus, Cotta, Banasa and Volubilis.

American Legation Museum

It shows the history of relations between Morocco and America. Morocco was the first state of the old continent to recognize American independence in 1777.
Admission is free, but tours are guided by the museum’s staff.

Forbes Museum
Palais Mendoub, rue Shakespeare
Exhibition of military miniatures re-enacting the major battles of history from Waterloo to Dien Bien Phfi realistically recreated complete with lighting and sound effects.
