From the airport
The Fez Saiss Airport is 15 km from the city. The best way to get to Fez from the airport is by Grands Taxis that are parked just outside the terminal or by bus, one every hour.

Grands Taxis
Grands Taxis like coaches tend to park at the gare routiere north of Bab Mahrouk, apart from those from Immouzer, Ifrane, Azrou and sometimes Marrakech that park outside the CTM offices 100 m east of Place de l’Atlas. Grands Taxis from Meknes stop at the train station, while those from Sidi Harazem, Taza and Taounate arrive at Bab Ftouh.

By Coach
Coaches stop at the gare routiere north of Bab Mahrouk, outside CTM offices or near the southeastern medina entrance of Bab Ftouh according to their provenance.

By Train
Fez train station is situated in the new city about 10 minute walk from Place Mohammed V. An easy way to get to the centre is by petit taxi.

Petits Taxis
Petits taxis are the best way to move around Fez, they are metre operated and can be found parked in Place Mohammed V, Place des Alouites, Place Baghdadi, Dar Batha and Bab Ftouh as well as along the streets when they are moving.

Urban Buses
There is also a city bus service linking the major parts of the city.
